Hey Everyone, We’ve Solved Some Key Issues!
We’re excited to share some important updates based on your feedback. Here’s what’s new:
- No More Accidental Shift Moves on Mobile
We’ve fixed the issue where scrolling on your phone could accidentally move shifts. Now, if you try to move a shift that’s already been published, you’ll get a confirmation prompt, making sure shifts only move when you want them to. This keeps your schedule secure and organized!
- Shift Locking After Approval
You can now lock shifts after they’re approved, so employees can’t edit them. Here’s how to activate it:
Navigate to Settings -> Permissions -> Employee Permissions
Choose Shift, Time-off, Availability -> Edit Permission -> Configure
Leave the checkmark only on the status you wish to use for locking the time-block with (suggested status: “Approved”).
Now, once you approve a time-block, employees won’t be able to make any changes!
We hope these updates make scheduling easier and more reliable for everyone. Thanks for your feedback and for being such a valuable part of our community!
Best regards,
The Heybegin Team

"Approving" a shift, locks it

It would be nice to have an option of locking a shift from future modifications. For example "approving" a shift could stop the worker or other managers from purposefully or accidentally modifying the shift and if the employee has a problem they really need to fix then they know they have to write to the manager to open the shift again.
